Ford Escort MkII "Cossack" Giclée Art Print

The European Ford Escort, best known as a classic family car, also has a long track record in motorsport events such as motor rallying. It was the car of choice for British racing legend, Roger Clark, whose MkII Escort was sponsored by Cossack Hairspary and painted in an iconic shade of red. "The Cossack," as his car became called, was driven by Roger Clark and Stuart Pegg during their 1976 RAC Rally victory. To this day, "the Cossack" - depicted in this illustration - remains prominent in the memory of motor rally enthusiasts.
