High quality art print of American actor John Travolta, inspired by his performance as Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction.
Pulp Fiction, a crime film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, released in 1994 to mass acclaim - winning an Oscar, two BAFTAS, and a Golden Globe, among other major awards. John Travolta stars as Vincent Vega, a criminal working for crime boss Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames). Together with his partner-in-crime, Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson), Vega is tasked with retrieving a suitcase for Wallace. In a parallel narrative, he escorts Wallace's wife, Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman) to dinner, and then saves her life after a drug overdose.
Although John Travolta had enjoyed a successful career before Pulp Fiction, he'd suffered a downturn in fortunes through the 1980s. His performance as Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction netted him only $100,000, but revitalised his career.
Today, John Travolta is best known for his performances in films such as Saturday Night Fever and Grease in the 1970s, for Pulp Fiction in 1994, and for films such as Get Shorty, Broken Arrow, and Face/Off in the 1990s.
This illustration by Tom Wisdom is a high-quality Giclée art print on cotton-rich fine art paper.
