The Lotus Seven is a classic sports car, produced by British automobile manufacturer Lotus Cars (Lotus Engineering, at the time) from 1957 to 1972. Designed by founder Colin Chapman, the Seven was typical of Lotus' philosophy, achieving strong performance through lightweight construction.
