Manningtree, Essex Giclée Travel Poster
Giclée travel poster of Manningtree, widely reputed to be the smallest town in England - by area, if not by population. Depicted in this illustration is a view down Manningtree High Street, towards the sculpture of the bull which was installed in 2000 - a reference to a line in Shakespeare's Henry IV Part I, which refers to a "roasted Manningtree ox."
Manningtree is a flourishing small town on the south bank of the River Stour, on the border between Essex and Suffolk. It almost adjoins the neighbouring town of Mistley, which we have illustrated several views of.
This Manningtree illustration by Essex artist Rob Wisdom is a high-quality Giclée travel poster. For our classic art print of Manningtree, click here.
