Mike Myers Giclée Art Print
High quality art print of British-Canadian actor Mike Myers, inspired by his performances as Austin Powers.
Mike Myers was producer, writer, and star of the Austin Powers trilogy, which came out between 1997 and 2002. A parody of the James Bond 'gentleman spy', Austin Powers was a swinger from the 1960s, frozen in time and thawed out to save the world. Throughout the series, Powers confronts his brother, Dr. Evil (also played by Myers) to thwart his apocalyptic money-making schemes; he is accompanied by a procession of 'Bond girls' - played by Liz Hurley, Heather Graham, and Beyoncé Knowles.
Mike Myers played a total of four characters in the Austin Powers series - Austin, Dr. Evil, and supporting antagonists Fat Bastard (in the Spy Who Shagged Me onwards) and Goldmember (in Goldmember). The series also featured the talents of Michael York as Basil Exposition, Seth Green as Scott Evil, Verne Troyer as Mini-Me, and Michael Caine as Nigel Powers.
Also depicted in this illustration is Austin Powers' car from the first movie, International Man of Mystery, the "Shaguar" - a 1961 Jaguar E-Type in Union Jack livery. The second film, The Spy Who Shagged Me, traded the Shaguar out for a Volkswagen Beetle in garish bright colours. A second Shaguar would appear in the third entry, Goldmember, alongside a purple 1975 Cadillac Eldorado.
Outside of Austin Powers, Mike Myers has enjoyed a long and successful career as an actor, producer, writer, and director. On screen, he is best known for Wayne's World, Austin Powers, and as the voice of Shrek; he has also appeared in the likes of The Cat in the Hat, Inglorious Basterds, and Bohemian Rhapsody.
