The Maltings, Mistley, Essex

Premium Giclée art print of Mistley, a small waterfront town in Tendring, Essex. Sitting on the south bank of the River Stour (which separates Essex and Suffolk), Mistley is nearly adjacent with the neighbouring town of Manningtree -  often described as England's smallest town.

This illustration depicts an aerial view of Mistley, overlooking the EDME factory. The factory, with its iconic chimney, has been a central part of Mistley for more than a century, with the company having first set up in the area in 1881. The factory continues in operation to this day, and the aroma of malting grain is characteristic of Mistley. Beyond the factory is Mistley Quay, and the Quayside Maltings. In the far distance, one can see the Port of Felixstowe.
