The Chevrolet Corvette - or Vette - is one of the most iconic sports cars in automotive history, in production from 1953 to the present day. The fourth generation Corvette - sometimes referred to as the C4 - ran from 1983 to 1996, and saw a completely new chassis with modern styling, among other innovations.
