Ardleigh, Essex Giclée Art Print
High-quality art print of Ardleigh, a village in Tendring, Essex. Located a few miles to the north-east of Colchester, Ardleigh sits next to the route of the Great Eastern Main Line - though the village's own station was closed in 1967, and it is now served by Manningtree station to the north-east. Just under a mile from the village is Ardleigh Reservoir, a 3000 acre reservoir used by locals for sailing and angling.
Seen in the background of this illustration is St Mary's Church, which dates back as far as the 15th century (though there is evidence of a previous church on the site at least as early as the 12th century). The church sits in the middle of the village.
This Essex illustration by artist Tom Wisdom is a high quality Giclée art print on cotton-rich fine art paper.
12x16" print shown. Cropping and title position (if applicable) may differ slightly on 'A' size prints.
