Original art print of the iconic Aston Martin DB5, a luxury grand tourer that has entered the history books as one of the most iconic cars in British motoring history. The DB5 was produced from 1963 to 1965 at Aston Martin's factory in Newport Pagnell, near Milton Keynes. On release, the car cost £4,175, the equivalent of around £80,000 in today's money.
The Aston Martin DB5 is particularly famous due to its starring role in a number of James Bond films, beginning with 1964's Goldfinger, where it was driven by Sean Connery. The DB5 quickly became an icon of the James Bond franchise, returning in Thunderball (1965); for Pierce Brosnan's Bond in GoldenEye (1995) and Tomorrow Never Dies (1197); and for Daniel Craig's Bond in Skyfall (2012) and No Time To Die (2019), having made a cameo as a villain's car in 2005's Casino Royale. Roger Moore's Bond would never drive the DB5, however he did drive the DB5 in an unrelated movie, 1981's Cannonball Run.
Famous DB5 owners of a less fictional sort have included Sir Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Mick Jagger, Peter Sellers, Elle McPherson, and Ralph Lauren.
This Aston Martin DB5 illustration is available in a range of colours, including Silver Birch, Dubonnet Red, Caribbean Pearl, California Sage, British Racing Green, Autumn Gold, and Midnight Blue.
