Brentwood, Essex Giclée Art Print
High-quality art print of Brentwood, a town in the south of Essex. Brentwood's history can be traced back as far as the establishment of the Chapel of Thomas Becket in 1221, with the town receiving a market charter six years later in 1227. The ruins of this chapel can be seen in the town centre to this day, and are depicted in this illustration.
Today, Brentwood is a flourishing town in the London commuter belt. For many years, Brentwood's suburb Warley was home to Ford of Britain - now based in nearby Basildon - with computer giant Amstrad and vacuum flask manufacturer Thermos also having previously been based in the town. More recently, the town was put into the national spotlight by TV show 'The Only Way Is Essex.'
