Brightlingsea, Essex Giclée Art Print
High-quality art print of Brightlingsea in Essex, England. A coastal town, Brightlingsea sits on Brightlingsea Creek at the mouth of the River Colne, partway between the towns of Colchester and Clacton-on-Sea. Brightlingsea's history can be traced back to the Norman conquest, when the then-village became the personal holding of William the Conqueror. Over the years, Brightlingsea grew into a busy port with a flourishing oyster industry, operating as a 'Limb' of the Cinque Port in Sandwich. Today, Brightlingsea is a peaceful seaside town, known for its beaches.
Depicted in this illustration are a handful of Brightlingsea's iconic beach huts, which run along Brightlingsea beach, starting near Bateman's Tower, running past Brightlingsea Lido, and stopping near Brightlingsea Sailing Club at the harbour. The much-beloved beach huts form a rainbow of colour along Brightlingsea beach.
