Chappel & Wakes Colne Railway Station Giclée Art Print
High quality art print of Chappel & Wakes Colne railway station in Essex, a homage to the iconic railway posters of old. The station is on the Gainsborough Line, a branch to Sudbury coming off from the Great Eastern Main Line at Marks Tey, in the East of England, serving the village of Wakes Colne and neighbouring Chappel. The station is also home to the East Anglian Railway Museum.
Chappel & Wakes Colne Railway Station opened in 1849, and just to the south of the station is the impressive 75 foot high and 32 arch Chappel viaduct - now a Grade II listed structure, and the longest bridge in East Anglia. Our illustration of this iconic structure can be found here.
This Essex illustration by artist Rob Wisdom is a high-quality Giclée art print on cotton-rich fine art paper.
