Original art print depicting a cruise ship departing from the London International Cruise Terminal in Tilbury, Essex. Located on the northern shores of the Thames Estuary, Tilbury grew in the 19th century into one of the country's most important ports, serving London. In the 20th century, Tilbury was the departure point for many of the 'Ten Pound Poms' who moved to Australia, and the arrival point for the famous HMT Empire Windrush.
Today, the cruise terminal is used by a number of ocean-going cruise lines, including Ambassador Cruise Line, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, and Saga Cruises. In addition, the terminal is used by Viking River Cruises. Sailing from Tilbury, cruisers can reach a variety of destinations across the British Isles and continental Europe.
This illustration by Rob Wisdom is a high quality Giclée art print on cotton-rich fine art paper.
12x16" art print shown. Cropping and title position (if applicable) may differ slightly on 'A' size art prints.
