Dedham, Essex Greeting Card

High quality greeting card of Dedham, a picturesque village in the Borough of Colchester in Essex. Dedham is best known for the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Dedham Vale, which stretches across the border between Essex and Suffolk, from just outside of Bures down towards Manningtree. Dedham Vale was brought to fame by artist John Constable, who grew up in nearby East Bergholt, and attended school in Dedham.

This illustration depicts a view of Dedham High Street, home to a range of independent shops, pubs, and cafés - including the Essex Rose and the Marlborough, both of which can be seen in this illustration. The high street is known not only for its local businesses, but also for the timber-framed buildings and historic architecture.
