The Ferrari 250 is a series of classic sports cars, produced by legendary Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari from 1952 to 1964, all of which used a 3.0 L Colombo V12 engine. Tractor magnate Ferruccio Lamborghini famously began designing cars after becoming frustrated with his Ferrari 250. This illustration depicts a Ferrari 250 GT (gran turismo, or grand tourer), a variant produced with performance motorsport and racing in mind.
