Original illustration of the Fokker Dr.I "Dreidecker," a German triplane used by the Luftstreitkräfte during the First World War. The Fokker Dr. I is most famous as the aircraft of the "Red Baron," the leading fighter ace of the war - who claimed his last 17 victories, and met his end, in the aircraft. The Fokker Dr. I was introduced in 1917, and used through to the end of the conflict.
