Ford Escort MkI RS1800 (Roger Clark) Giclée Art Print
The European Ford Escort, best known as a classic family car, also has a long track record in motorsport events such as motor rallying. It was the car of choice for British racing legend, Roger Clark, who drove this illustration's Escort MkI RS1800 BDA throughout the 1976 World Rally Championships. His victory in the 1976 RAC Rally - now known as the Wales Rally GB, and once known as the Rally of Great Britain - was the first victory for a British driver in WRC events. Ford was Roger Clark's car of choice throughout much of his racing career, which spanned from 1973 to 1981, with two brief returns in 1984 and 1995.
This illustration by Rob Wisdom is a high quality Giclée art print on cotton-rich fine art paper.
