The result of collaboration between American automobile manufacturers Ford and Shelby, the Ford Shelby Mustang - also known simply as a Shelby Mustang - was produced from 1965 to 1970. This illustration depicts a Shelby Mustang 500KR, with the KR standing for 'King of the Road'. The classic sports car boasted a 'Cobra Jet' engine from April 1968 onwards.
