Frinton-on-Sea, or Frinton, as it is more commonly known, is best recognised for its sandy beach - which ranks among the very finest in the country - and rows of colourful Victorian-style beach huts. Frinton's nearest neighbour is Walton-on-the-Naze to the north-east, with the two towns practically adjoining, while a few miles down the coast are Holland-on-Sea and Clacton-on-Sea.
A selection of Frinton-on-Sea's most beloved landmarks are depicted in this artwork, from the beach up beyond the beach huts, to the Bandstand on the Greensward - an expanse of grass that separates the town from the cliffs, and has done for over a century - and beyond the Esplanade to the Grand, which began life as the Grand Hotel in 1896.
This Essex illustration by artist Rob Wisdom is a weatherproof PVC scuff-proof posters as currently featured in stations throughout Essex and South Suffolk.
