High quality art print of the Fullbridge area of Maldon, where Fullbridge crosses the River Chelmer at the bottom of Market Hill. The present bridge dates to the 1960s, with earlier bridges on the site dating back to the medieval period.

Neighbouring Fullbridge are several historic buildings. On the west side of the bridge is a historic pub dating back to the 15th century; for many years this pub was known as the Sunny Sailor, and recently as the Muddy Duck. To the east side is Fullbridge Mill, a 19th century grain mill, and beyond that the old Green's Flour Mill, and Carr's Flour, which is still operating to this day.

Maldon itself is a thriving small town on the Blackwater Estuary, neighbouring Heybridge and the Blackwater and Chelmer Navigation. The town is a popular destination for tourists from across Essex due to its charming aesthetic, beautiful views over the water, and the ever-popular promenade park.

Love Maldon? We've also illustrated the Moot Hall, and a view of the Hythe.

This Maldon illustration by Essex artist Tom Wisdom is a high quality Giclée art print on cotton-rich fine art paper. For our Giclée travel poster of Fullbridge, click here.
