Original travel poster of Great Totham in the Maldon district of Essex, depicting a view of St Peter's Church. The highest point in Maldon district, Beacon Hill (272 feet above sea level), lies within Great Totham. The name Great Totham distinguishes the village from nearby Little Totham.
St Peter's is a Grade II* listed building that dates back to the 13th or 14th century, and underwent extensive restorations in the 19th century. Further repairs were made in 2012, funded by English Heritage and the Friends of Essex Churches. The church is central to the parish, but this places it outside of the village itself, which has shifted over the centuries to its present location.
This Essex illustration by artist Rob Wisdom is a high-quality Giclée travel poster. We also offer this Gt. Totham illustration as a classic art print.
