High-quality art print of the former Kelvedon Low Level Station in Essex, which was on the Kelvedon and Tollesbury Light Railway, affectionately known by locals as the 'Crab and Winkle Line'. At its height, The Great Eastern Railway (GER) / London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) line ran between Kelvedon Low Level and Tollesbury Pier.

Opened in 1904, Kelvedon Low Level Train Station was linked to Kelvedon Station, which was, and still is, on the main line into London Liverpool Street. Kelvedon Low Level was closed to train passengers in 1951, but rail freight continued to be carried - mainly by the Wilkin & Sons jam factory - until 1962. The former site is on the opposite side of Coggeshall Road to Kelvedon Station. It featured a ware tower and engine shed.

This Essex illustration by artist Rob Wisdom is a high-quality Giclée art print on cotton-rich fine art paper.

12x16" print shown. Cropping and title position (if applicable) may differ slightly on 'A' size prints.
