Original travel poster of Kersey, a village in the Babergh district of Suffolk. Kersey is a small village: the civil parish, which also contains a few hamlets, has a population of around 400. Depicted in this illustration is a view of Kersey's main road, which fords a tributary of the River Brett; this is known affectionately by locals as 'the Splash.' At the top of the hill is St Mary's Church, Kersey, a Grade I listed Church of England parish church which dates back at least as far as the 14th century.

Due to Kersey's idyllic appearance and abundance of old buildings, it has long been a favourite of cinematographers; it has appeared in TV shows such as Lovejoy and Magpie Murders, and in the  advert which introduced the Austin Metro to TV-watching audiences.

This Suffolk illustration by artist Tom Wisdom is a high-quality Giclée travel poster on cotton-rich fine art paper. For our premium art print of Kersey, click here.
