High-quality Giclée art print recreating a nostalgic poster of the past. This poster promoted three rock music events at the Kursaal Ballroom in Southend-on-Sea, Essex: Status Quo (1st March 1975), Lindisfarne (8th March 1975), and Manfred Mann (22nd March 1975).
Status Quo were touring to promote their eighth studio album, On the Level, which entered the UK albums chart at number one. Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Alan Lancaster, and John Coghlan made up the lineup.
Folk rock band Lindisfarne, meanwhile, were promoting their fifth studio album, 1974's Happy Daze. The lineup at the time was Ray Jackson, Alan Hull, Kenny Craddock, Tommy Duffy, Charlie Harcourt, and Paul Nichols.
Manfred Mann were more properly, at this time, Manfred Mann's Earth Band. The original band, Manfred Mann (1962-69), had been followed by Manfred Mann Chapter Three (1969-70), before eventually reforming as Manfred Mann's Earth Band in 1971. They were touring to promote their fifth album, The Good Earth, and would release their sixth, Nightingales & Bombers, later that year. In addition to Manfred Mann himself, the band consisted of Mick Rogers, Chris Slade, and Colin Pattenden.
