Layer Breton, Essex Giclée Art Print

Original art print of Layer Breton, a small village in the City of Colchester, Essex. Layer Breton is one of the three 'Layer parishes' in the area, the others being Layer de la Haye and Layer Marney. The star of this illustration is the church of St Mary the Virgin, a church that is deceptively young - it was built in 1923 to replace a Norman-era church, which had been damaged in the 1884 Colchester earthquake and was demolished in 1915.
