The Church Hill Steps in Leigh-on-Sea are a well-known historic landmark in this Essex fishing town, celebrated for its seafood and warm hospitality. Dating back to the mid-19th century, these cobbled steps form a steep but scenic 400-foot climb from Leigh Hill and Old Leigh up to Leigh Broadway (West), an area renowned for its independent shops.
