An offshoot of the Lotus Elite (1974-1982), the Lotus Éclat is a classic sports car that was manufactured by Lotus Cars from 1975 to 1982. Formally known as the Lotus Type 76 and then as the Lotus Type 84, the Lotus Éclat was originally developed as the Lotus Elite Coupé, and this can be seen in the similarities between the two cars, which shared much of their bodywork.
