Mont Ventoux is famous for its inclusion in the Tour de France route - cyclists have ascended the mountain trail in eighteen Tours de France since 1951. On ten occasions, the summit of Mont Ventoux has served as the finish line - including, most recently, Chris Froome's 2013 and 2016 victories.
