Osea Beach Huts, Essex Giclée Art Print
Premium Giclée art print of the Osea Beach Huts in Osea Leisure Park, near Maldon in Essex. Sitting on the north shore of the River Blackwater, the Osea Beach Huts look out over the estuary towards Northey Island to the south, but take their name from Osea Island to the east - connected to the Essex mainland by Osea Road, which is carried to the island by a tidal causeway. The Osea Beach Huts, of which there are ten, stand on stilts which hold them just above the water at high tide, and have beautiful views of the sea, the sky, and the sails of the many ships which frequent the Blackwater Estuary.
The Osea Beach Huts are a part of Osea Leisure Park, a family-run holiday park which can trace its history back to 1933, when the landowner Mable Speakman owned her fields. As well as the Osea Beach Huts, Osea Leisure Park is home to a wide range of holiday homes, lodges, tents, and pods which can be bought or rented by families looking for a seaside getaway.
