The Porsche 911 is a classic German sports car, produced by Porsche from 1964 through to the present day. One of the most iconic sports cars in automotive history, the 911 has thrived as both a consumer and performance motorsport car. 1967 saw the introduction of the 911 Targa, depicted in this illustration. The Targa was named after the Targa Florio race, which Porsche had won seven times at that point.
