Original illustration of a Raleigh Chopper MkII, a children and teenager's bicycle that was sold by the Raleigh Bicycle Company of Nottingham from 1972 to 1983, building upon the success of the 1969-1972 Raleigh Chopper MkI. Inspired by American 'chopper' motorbikes of the 1950s and 1960s, the Raleigh Chopper was a massive success, becoming one of the most enduring icons of the 1970s. It is fondly remembered for its design, including the 'mullet' setup wheels and U-shaped handlebars.
This Raleigh Chopper MkII illustration is available in the range of standard colours used by Raleigh, including Space Blue, Quick Silver, Fizzy Lemon, Infrared, and Ultra Violet.
This illustration by artist Rob Wisdom is a high quality Giclee art print on cotton-rich fine art paper.
