Thaxted Windmill, Essex Giclée Art Print

High quality art print of Thaxted, a town in the Uttlesford, Essex. Nestled in the Chelmer Valley, Thaxted is a historic market town that has retained many of its beautiful medieval buildings.

The star of this illustration, however, is John Webb's Mill - often referred to simply as Thaxted Windmill. A Grade II* listed building, the mill was built in 1804 by local farmer John Webb, and operated through to 1910; more recently, it was restored to working order, reopening in 2005. Also seen in this illustration is Thaxted Parish Church, one of the largest in Essex- which can also be seen in our illustration of Thaxted town centre.
