Giclée travel poster featuring Trinity, formerly recognized as Lightvessel 15 (LV15), and affectionately known as the Tollesbury Lightship. Constructed in 1954 under the auspices of Trinity House, the official lighthouse authority for England and Wales, LV15 dutifully served as an active lightship until its retirement in 1987. In 1990, the vessel found a new purpose under the stewardship of the Fellowship Afloat Charitable Trust (FACT), rechristened as Trinity and transformed into an activity venue catering to youth clubs and schools.

The Tollesbury Lightship earns its moniker due to its mooring just outside the village of Tollesbury in Essex, located near the Tollesbury Sail Lofts. Anchored amidst the stunning landscape, the Tollesbury Lightship offers a captivating view overlooking 150 acres of saltmarsh. Positioned adjacent to Woodrolfe Creek, flowing into Tollesbury Fleet and further into the Blackwater Estuary, Trinity stands as both a historical maritime relic and a versatile venue for educational and recreational activities.

This Tollesbury illustration by Essex artist Rob Wisdom is a high quality Giclée travel poster on cotton-rich fine art paper. Also available as an art print.

12x16" print shown. Cropping and title position (if applicable) may differ slightly on 'A' size prints.
