The Triumph Spitfire is a classic British sports car, manufactured by Standard-Triumph from 1962 to 1980. Sharing a name with the iconic fighter plane of the Second World War, the Spitfire aimed to live up to that legacy through elegant bodywork and strong performance. In this, it succeeded, winning numerous performance motorsport and racing events, including 1964's Tour de France rally in its class.
