British automobile manufacturer TVR debuted in 1958 with the TVR Grantura, kickstarting the company with its nine-year run of production. In some ways, the Grantura can be seen as a composite classic British sports car, taking elements from the Austin-Healey, Triumph, and - in the case of the MkIIa depicted in this illustration - running on MGA engines.
