One of - if not the most - beloved camper vans of all time, the VW Camper has been a beloved of motorists everywhere ever since its introduction in 1950. Depicted in this illustration is a first generation 'T1' camper. Known to enthusiasts as the Microbus or the Splittie, the T1 can be identified by its iconic split windscreen, and was produced from 1950 through to 1967 (and for a further 8 years in Brazil).
