Waltham Abbey, Essex Giclée Art Print
High-quality art print of Waltham Abbey, a town in the Epping Forest District of Essex. Officially known as Waltham Holy Cross until 1974, the town takes its name from the the Abbey Church of Waltham Holy Cross - an 11th century monastery, believed to be the burial site of Harold Godwinson, the last Anglo-Saxon King of England. The Abbey Church takes pride of place in this illustration.
Today, the town of Waltham Abbey is home to over 21,000 people, and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and woodland; the River Lea runs past the town to the west, separating this Essex town from neighbouring Waltham Cross in Hertfordshire.
This Essex illustration by artist Tom Wisdom is a high quality Giclée art print on cotton-rich fine art paper.
12x16" art print shown. Cropping and title position (if applicable) may differ slightly on 'A' size art prints.
