Walton-on-the-Naze is a seaside town in the Tendring District of Essex. A popular destination for a seaside getaway or  beach trip, Walton is home to the country's third-longest pier - Walton Pier - as well as to miles of sandy beaches, dotted with an assortment of colourful beach huts. The beach runs south to neighbouring Frinton-on-Sea, another popular seaside destination.

The Grade II* listed Naze Tower overlooks Walton-on-the-Naze, and is a popular destination for tourists arriving in Walton via the 'Sunshine Coast line', which runs from Colchester to Walton by way of Wivenhoe and Frinton; another branch connects to Clacton-on-Sea.
