Original illustration of Wrabness, close to Manningtree in Tendring,  Essex. Wrabness is home to Wrabness Nature Reserve, 52 acres of beautiful nature on the south shores of the River Stour. The site is under the stewardship of the Essex Wildlife Trust, and is known for scenic views, such as the view from East Grove shown in this illustration. Across the River Stour is a panorama of rural Suffolk, and the spire of the Royal Hospital School - a private boarding school with links to the Royal Navy.
