Brightlingsea, Essex Giclée Travel Poster
Giclée travel poster of Brightlingsea, Essex. Brightlingsea sits on, and gives its name to, Brightlingsea Creek at the mouth of the River Colne, just down the river from Colchester. The town's history can be traced back almost a millenia, to the time of the Norman Conquest. Over the centuries, Brightlingsea grew from a peaceful village into a busy port with a flourishing oyster industry, and became one of the Cinque Ports through as a 'limb' of Sandwich. Today, Brightlingsea is a peaceful seaside town, known for its beaches.
This illustration depicts a handful of Brightlingsea's iconic beach huts, which run along the beach, starting near the iconic Bateman's Tower, and running alongpast Brightlingsea Lido, almost as far as Brightlingsea Sailing Club at the harbour.
