Dedham Village, Essex

Nestled in the heart of the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, to which it gives its name, Dedham is a flourishing village, and a popular destination for day trips to the surrounding area.

Depicted in this illustration is a view of Dedham's High Street, which is home to a number of independent businesses including cafés, shops, tea rooms, and of course, Dedham Art and Craft Centre. Two of the village's pubs can be seen here- the Marlborough and the Essex Rose, which sit just across the street from one another; both beautiful buildings, characteristic of the idyllic area.
