High quality art print of Halstead in Essex. A traditional market town, Halstead is known for its attractive buildings and variety of independent shops, as well as for its Friday markets. Straddling the River Colne, Halstead is located between Braintree and Sudbury, and is home to around 11,000 people. 

This illustration shows a view of St Andrews' Church on Market Hill. The church dates back at least as far as the early 13th century, with the current structure dating back to the early 14th century; the tower itself was added in 1850. Also shown in this illustration is Halstead's Jubilee Fountain, built in 1887 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee.
