Original illustration of the Hannover CL.III biplane, as used by the German Luftstreitkräfte during the First World War. A two-seater aircraft primarily used for ground attack, the CL.III had a distinctive tail design, which afforded the tail gunner a greater arc of fire than most other aircraft. The CL.III was introduced in 1917, and was operated through to the end of the war.
This aviation illustration by artist Ken Wisdom is a high quality Giclée art print on cotton-rich fine art paper.
