Original art print of an M4 Sherman. The Sherman tank was the most-produced American tank of World War II, with almost 50,000 built; only the Soviet T-34 was built in greater numbers. Entering service in 1942, the Sherman proved itself to be a fine tank with the British Army at the Second Battle of El Alamein, and continued to be used throughout the war. The Easy Eight variant continued in US Army service until 1957, seeing service in the Korean War; among foreign operators, it continued in service until 2018 in Paraguay.
This illustration by Rob Wisdom is a high-quality Giclée art print on cotton-rich fine art paper.
