The Maltings, Mistley, Essex Greeting Card

High quality greeting card of Mistley, a small riverside town in the Tendring district of Essex. Mistley sits on the south bank of the River Stour which separates Essex from Suffolk, and is almost adjacent with the neighbouring town of Manningtree - which is often described as England's smallest town.
Depicted in this illustration is an aerial view of Mistley, overlooking the EDME factory. The factory, with its iconic chimney, has been a central part of Mistley for over a century, with the company having first set up in the town in 1881. The factory remains in operation to this day, and the smell of malting grain is characteristic of Mistley. Beyond the factory is Mistley Quay and the Quayside Maltings. In the very distance, one can see the Port of Felixstowe.
