Pfalz D.III

Original illustration of the Pfalz D.III fighter biplane, as used by the German Luftstreitkräfte during the First World War. Introduced in August 1917, the Pfalz D.III was used through to the end of the conflict; it proved a sturdy aircraft, but lacked in performance compared to the contemporary Albatros D.III and D.V.
