Original illustration of the Sopwith Tabloid bi-plane, as used by the Royal Flying Corps throughout the First World War, though primarily in 1914-15. A floatplane variant, the Sopwith Schneider, was used by the Royal Naval Air Service. The Tabloid was the first British aircraft to carry out a bombing raid on German soil in 1914.
This aviation illustration by artist Ken Wisdom is a high quality Giclée art print on cotton-rich fine art paper.
