Vickers F.B.5 "Gunbus"

Original illustration of a Vickers F.B.5 "Gunbus", a British two-seater biplane of the First World War. The Gunbus has the distinction of being the world's first purpose-built fighter aircraft to see service. It was operated by the Royal Flying Corps from 1914 to 1916; license-built Gunbuses were used in Denmark as late as 1924.
