Original illustration of the Fokker Eindecker E.III, a German monoplane fighter aircraft of the First World War. The Eindecker E.III was introduced to the Luftstreitkräfte in late 1915, and along with earlier Eindecker, was responsible for the "Fokker scourge" in which Germany maintained air superiority over the allies; however this was broken in 1916 with the introduction of new allied aircraft, including the Sopwith 1 ½ Strutter and Nieuport 11. The Eindecker E.III ended production in 1916.
This aviation illustration by artist Ken Wisdom is a high quality Giclée art print on cotton-rich fine art paper.
