Original illustration of a Sopwith 1½ Strutter, a multi-role biplane used by the Royal Naval Air Service and Royal Flying Corps (and by the French Aéronautique Militaire) during the First World War. The Strutter entered service in 1916, and in 1917 was phased out by the RFC in favour of the newer Sopwith Camel; the RNAS continued using their 'Ship's Strutters' into 1918.
This aviation illustration by artist Ken Wisdom is a high quality Giclée art print on cotton-rich fine art paper.
